I've just received permission from a childrens' book artist to make
letterboxing stamps from a few of his illustrations. I don't want to
say who & spoil the surprise, but I'm quite excited. (No, it's not Dr
Seuss, that'd be weird to receive permission from him). But the artist
is very well known in the childrens' book circles & has been
illustrating childrens' books for 40 years. OTOH, I'd never heard of
him until my wife bought one of his books for our daughter. I've
already carved 3 of the 10 stamps to provide the artist examples of the
stamped images. So, now that the weather is starting to clear,
hopefully I'll be able to plant them shortly. & the box locations will
be ones that Grumpy Grinch will enjoy.

How TOTALLY cool!! I think I know who this artist might be! 15-20 years ago,
this artist was my kid's favorite! If I'm right, these will be amazing
stamps indeed. We will be hitting the "what's new" button every day eager for
these boxes to be listed!
